Yesterday, Intel Capital announced that PagPop, accelerated in our first program, was selected to receive investment!.  Intel announced that they would collectively invest $ 40 million into ten companies.

PagPop is a payment system that allows storeowners to use their iPhones to accept credit card payments.  The model is similar to Square in the united states but has features that are unique to the Brazilian market.  It also allows these store owners to accept payment through SMS.  Watch Marcio present Pagpop at our last Demo Day below.
